Why campus2careers?
campus2careers was founded by Jay Whitchurch and Nathan Green, former senior executives at Pearson, the largest publisher and educational content provider in the world. Having been small business owners, college recruiters, and management consultants in the talent space before, we knew there was an opportunity to improve both the existing online and on-campus recruiting processes. With help from recruiting experts, advisors from the IC2 Institute (http://www.ic2.utexas.edu) at The University of Texas at Austin, and student leaders across multiple colleges, we are building a solution that not only improves college recruitment but also creates a bridge to campus for the largest segment of our economy – small and medium-sized businesses. We believe this ‘missing middle’ is the biggest gap in our labor market today and have designed campus2careers as the bridge between these huge underserved markets.
