Jay Whitchurch, CEO 

 

Jay Whitchurch is the co-founder and CEO for campus2careers. In this role, he is responsible for all campus2career products and services as well as business operations.  Jay has significant leadership experience in successfully building and operating organizations:

  • Senior Vice President, Pearson Education – Directed $85M P&L for K - 12 Assessment business.  Jay led the Product Strategy / Management, Development, Operations, and Support organizations responsible for all products and services
  • Chief Information Officer, Senior Vice President, Harcourt Assessment – Led a 150 person organization ($40M budget) managing all aspects of Technology products and services for a $300M enterprise. Jay was part of an Executive Management team that drove a significant turnaround effort that resulted in a dramatic improvement to the bottom line


Jay also spent 13 years in management consulting driving key strategic initiatives for Fortune 500 clients:

  • Principal, Booz Allen Hamilton (Booz & Co.) – Worked with senior executive clients to re-define corporate strategies and plan/execute programs to drive business improvement. Jay’s areas of focus included Strategy, Organizational Restructuring, Operations, and Technology primarily in the education, healthcare, financial services, and media industries
  • Senior Consultant, Accenture– Managed teams of client and Accenture resources on large-scale process, organizational and technology reengineering initiatives


Jay holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the McCombs School of Business (The University of Texas at Austin) and currently serves on the Board for Circular Energy.
